Zoom Video Session (directed by faculty, time-to-time)
Hi there,
Let’s build confidence in our conversation. This unit provides you with speaking models to help you exchange greetings, ideas, thought, and feelings.
Also included in this unit are some automated eLearning speech activities. Through these activities, you can improve your spoken English, pronunciation, and fluency. These activities provide immediate pin-pointed feedback on the areas to improve. All you have to do is to record your voice through your computer, listen, get the feedback, and then try again. Keep practicing and improving your command over spoken English. The results will be right in front of you!
At the completion of this unit you will be able to:
- Greet people and start and finish a conversation
- Engage in a telephone conversation
- Give compliments
- Extend congratulations/sympathy
- Express feelings
- Ask for information/explanation
- Exchange opinions and ideas
- Suggest/advise/persuade/insist etc.
Let’s get started!
